Tap Offs

Available in two standard lengths (five metres and three metres), our tap-offs are slide-locking, colour coded and made from flexible metal conduit cable. Designed to comply with regulation 473-02-02 of BS 7671, these products are of the highest quality and will be delivered to you as quickly as possible.

Essential for the installation of easy fix floor boxes, all three metre 32 amp tap-offs incorporate an unfused or fused plug and a 16mm diameter flexible metal conduit. A five metre unfused version of this product is also available and comes with individual track runs. In this particular model, the track protective device provides security in the event of an overload or faulty current. Our slide locking, positive latching plug prevents accidental disconnection and can be safely removed or added to the busbar whilst the system is live, giving you greater flexibility during the installation process.

These tap-offs are fully compatible with the floor grommets and various desk power modules currently available across our range, however they are not interchangeable between different models of busbars. Made from flame retardant polycarbonate with brass plug pins, this product is colour coded to help ensure ease of fitting.
